Celebrate Indigenous Peoples Week

It's with a heavy heart that we start our Indigenous People's Week this year. Nevertheless, it is important to rejoice in the beauty, the diversity, the wisdom of our Indigenous cultures and not to lose hope for positive change.

We dedicate this year's week to the children found in Kamloops Indian Residential School and to those we will find soon. We look forward to singing them home. We call on the government and the church to take action on the TRC's 94 Calls to Action. 

We are with you all as we grieve together. Let us also celebrate together and build better relations so that we can build a better worlds that will protect all of our children.
